Cyber Security

Learn the skills and applications for securing information systems and assuring the integrity of an organization's operational information. Discover the balance between technology, policy, practice, awareness, and training of information assurance and security. Key topics include: hands-on cyber warfare, computer forensics, advanced networking and infrastructure protection and industry "best practices."

California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is accredited as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency (NSA). The campus is now among only six universities in California that have this national distinction.

CSUSB's Cyber Security coursework meets the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) standards for Information Systems Security Professionals (CNSS 4011) and Senior System Managers (CNSS 4012). CNSS certifications are awarded for a 5-year period.

CSUSB has been awarded the Scholarship for Service: Cybercorps program. This program can provide full tuition, lodging and stipends to eligible students. For more info visit the Cyber Security Center website.

The National Defense University in Washington DC have created a partnership where DoD civilians can attend NDU at and then complete their MBA in Cyber Security or Information Management at CSUSB, at no cost.

Business Intelligence & Information Technology

Information is a major strategic resource for organizational success, and its effective management is vital. The information manager who is armed with knowledge and skills of computer technology and business functions will effectively oversee the design and management of workplace computer information systems. Student can study data communications and networking, database systems, Internet and e-Business, geographical information systems (GIS) and information architecture and business process planning.

Global Supply Chain Management

The supply chain is the network of organizations that work together to produce and deliver a product or service. This network can include suppliers, designers, financial institutions, manufacturers, warehousing, transportation, and distributions groups and resellers. Organizations now recognize that their ability to compete and succeed in today's economy requires that they manage beyond the operations within their own "four walls." They must actively manage their supply chain.
